The first stage is the selection of eggs for incubation. The percentage of hatched offspring directly depends on the quality of the eggs that will be laid in the incubator. Good hygiene is essential for good results. Only clean eggs should be used for incubation, as diseases develop rapidly in warm and humid conditions. Fumigation of eggs immediately after collection will help maintain hygiene.
Laying eggs in the tray and setting up the incubator. At this stage, you should select the temperature, adjust the turning mechanism, select the number of days and adjust the humidity level.
Preparing eggs for hatching. Before hatching, CAREFULLY detach and remove the tray and place the egg on a mesh mat
The incubation period for chickens is 21 days.
The incubation period for ducks is 28 days.
The incubation period for geese is 30 days.
The incubation period for quails is 18 days.
When using the incubator for the first time, to prevent high humidity, DO NOT FILL all the containers, but pour into one small container first! The next refill should be carried out after 3 - 4 hours.
1. Check the integrity of the device and mechanisms.
2. Check connectors.
3. Pour warm water into a 50 ml container.
4. To turn on the incubator, connect to the power source.
5. Check the operation of the turning mechanism.
Leave the incubator on for at least 24 hours, and preferably 5-7 days, to make sure it works properly. To check the correct operation, it is better to make a trial incubation.
There are 2 types of incubators in Teplusha: mechanical and automatic. In automatic type incubators, egg turning occurs automatically and precisely on time, preventing the possibility of the embryo sticking to the shell. In mechanical carriages, you need to turn the carriages manually.
Maintaining the required level of humidity will provide a container under the overturning carriages, where you pour 250 ml of water. A hydrometer will help you monitor the humidity level. With it, you will know when it is necessary to restore the water supply in the container. Eggs are laid out in special carriages. The capacity of carriages for each type should be specified separately. Thanks to the auto turn motor, the carriages can be set to return automatically to evenly heat the eggs.
After you have laid out the eggs, close the lid of the incubator. The recommended temperature must be set on the electronic control unit. The main advantage of the incubator is the fan located inside. It distributes warm air in such a way that the same temperature background is created in every corner.
On the 7th day of the incubation period, you need to check the eggs with an ovoscope.
In a forced ventilation incubator, the following indicators must be maintained:
- temperature from 37.5 C to 38.5 C (depending on the type of egg);
- humidity level 45-55% in the first days, 65-75% in the last 3 days.
The EURO tray has the function of automatic exit to a horizontal or angular position after the software disables or enables auto-rotation.
The average capacity of chicken eggs is 88 pieces.
The average capacity of goose eggs is 40 pieces.
The average capacity of turkey eggs is 77 pieces.
The average capacity of quail eggs is 230 pieces.
Thanks to a properly designed control unit and selected heating elements, the Teplusha incubator consumes up to 50 W during heating and up to 20 W in the temperature maintenance state (depending on the ambient temperature). In the course of testing the incubator Teplusha at an air temperature in the room of +20C, the energy consumption was measured, and 12.6 kW were consumed during 21 days of incubation.

Service period - up to 7 days from the date of arrival.
Overexposure eggs should be stored pointed end down. After buying or receiving eggs in the mail, they must be kept for 24 hours. This will allow the air pockets inside the egg to return to normal size. If the purchased eggs are old, it is undesirable to store them for more than 12 hours.
Vent plugs are required to saturate the incubation chamber with fresh air! After closing the edges of the allantois, the embryo begins to release carbon dioxide and warm up the egg.
For this reason, the opening of the plugs and the cooling of the egg begins:
• for chickens - from 11-12 days;
• for turkeys/ducks – from the 14th day;
• for geese - from 16 days;
• for guinea fowls - from 15 days;
• for quails - from 8-9 days.
A few days before the chicks hatch, there is a natural increase in the temperature of the eggs, which can lead to a short-term imbalance in the temperature in the incubator.
It is very important to control the level of humidity in the last days of incubation and fill the container (recess) with water in a timely manner to ensure optimal conditions for hatching. When the chicks begin to hatch, do not open the lid of the incubator often to avoid a decrease in humidity levels and, as a result, drying out of the shell. Try not to overexpose the hatched chicks in the incubator. After drying (3-4 hours), transfer it to a brooder.
